Bard College Berlin on Instagram: "The concluding workshop of AI Aware Universities: Empowering University Communities for the Ethical Use of AI featured a lecture by Joanna Bryson, Professor of Ethics and Technology at the Hertie School. Bryson explored the ethical implications of AI use in universities and society. Following the lecture, students and community members engaged in a discussion, applying these insights to a proposed revision of BCB’s AI policy. This workshop was part of a larger initiative—a series of lectures and student-led discussions aimed at developing a shared strategy for the ethical use of Generative AI in academic spaces. In collaboration with the American University of Bulgaria and other partners, the program continues to encourage thoughtful engagement with AI’s role in education.
